Our story began in the summer of 2020, when Amanda traveled to Fernie to visit her brother, Joe. What she didn’t know was that Joe’s friend Riley would be stopping by for a backyard BBQ—along with a few other friends from the valley. Later that evening, the group walked to the Northern Pub, and that’s where the sparks truly began to fly. Something just clicked. Conversation came easy, laughter came quickly, and from the moment they met, it felt like more than coincidence. In fact, that very first night, Riley told Amanda he thought she was the one. Fast forward five years, and that feeling has only grown stronger. Now, with their dog Dash by their side, they’re ready to spend forever together. They can’t wait to grow old together—and to celebrate the start of forever with all the people who have been part of their journey.
